Unveiling the Mojo Story Logo: A Journey of Vision and Vibrancy
In the ever-evolving world of journalism, Barkha Dutt was a relentless trailblazer. Her identity was inseparable from the brand she represented – Mojo Story.
As we dived deeper into the realm of Mojo’s fervent followers, we unearthed the unique traits that defined Brand Mojo.
Mojo wasn’t just another news channel; it was a pioneer in the ‘video-first’ revolution of journalism. It excelled in delivering unbiased, on-the-ground reporting on issues of utmost importance.
Crafting the brand perception
Our task was straightforward – establishing Mojo Story as a formidable contender in prime-time TV news. We aimed to create a platform that offered minimalistic, high-quality and curated live-streaming content, ensuring viewers received the premium news experience they deserved.
While Mojo Story already had a robust YouTube presence with over 750,000 subscribers, it was time for the logo to shine.
The word ‘MOJO’ was our canvas, and the second ‘O’ became the focal point. It transformed into a dynamic representation of a camera shutter in motion, featuring the iconic video play button at its heart.
But our journey wasn’t over. We wanted every element to be distinctively Mojo Story. That’s when we meticulously crafted the Mojo font, which included a striking and unique letter ‘J.’
Colourspeak
The logo was versatile, seamlessly adapting to backgrounds of various colours. However, the true essence lay in the signature hues – Black Rock and Wild Strawberry. Black Rock symbolized strength, portraying Mojo Story as a formidable force in journalism. Wild Strawberry embodied passion, infusing vibrancy and energy into the brand’s identity.
The Mojo Story logo became more than just a symbol; it was a testament to the brand’s mission. It aimed to challenge the conventions of journalism and provide viewers with the news they truly deserved.
Mojo Story’s logo stood as a vivid representation of strength and passion, an embodiment of excellence, and an unwavering commitment to delivering news that mattered most.
So whenever you encounter the Mojo Story brand, you embark on a journey fueled by the relentless spirit of uncompromising journalism, where every revelation is a testament to the strength of truth and the vibrancy of fearless reporting.

Unveiling MojoStory’s Essence
Facing the Giants: The Competition
MojoStory ventured into a landscape where three generations of publications had already staked their claim:
The challenges were undeniably daunting. Yet, MojoStory was equipped with a blend of invaluable ingredients. It possessed a compelling brand narrative, a distinctive colour palette with Black Rock and Aquamarine as primaries and Wild Strawberry and Turbo Yellow as secondaries, and an audience known for its unwavering loyalty to cutting-edge UX.
A Design Team’s Wembley Moment
For the Made by Fire design team, this was like an invitation to play at Wembley Stadium. And we rose to the occasion, delivering breathtaking results.
The Grand Scroll
A stunning 8-frame scroll was introduced, featuring larger-than-life imagery. It rivalled the grandeur of the stories it showcased. The scroll masterfully played with striking fonts, Montserrat and Europa, to give every story the honour it deserved. It often audaciously contrasted with a predominantly Black Rock background or was artfully interspersed with Aquamarine for visual disruption. Barkha Dutt, too, received a place of honour on the homepage amidst the theatre of Indian news stories covered.
Seamless Responsiveness
The responsive version seamlessly complemented its desktop counterpart, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience. This transition was a design symphony that catered to a broad audience.
Minimalistic Story Pages
The story detail pages were a testament to minimalistic modesty, enhancing the reading experience. White backgrounds, bold headline fonts, and large story imagery drew readers into the heart of the narrative.

The Unveiling
